BOBAESEdu-Excellence Schools

Our Christian foundation

Christ is preeminent in all things.

Colossians 1:15–18

An early-years classroom lesson at BOBAES

Christ is preeminent in all things. Central to education in Bobaes Edu-Excellence Schools is training pupils and students to explore and express Christ's preeminence in every area of thought and life.

“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation… and in all things He may have the preeminence.”

Colossians 1:15–18

In practice that means faith is not a subject bolted on to the timetable once a week. It is the assumption underneath the rest of it — why honesty matters in a maths test, why a child is treated with dignity when they are struggling, why a teacher keeps going with a pupil who has not understood yet.

The school day opens with devotion, and Bible teaching runs through the week at a level each age can actually hold. It is warm, and it is age-appropriate. Children are not frightened into belief here.

Families of other faiths are welcome and are treated with the same respect and dignity we ask of everyone — that is one of our core values, and it is not conditional. We simply tell you plainly who we are, so that you can decide with your eyes open.

    Partnering with Parents

Educating children demands parental involvement; therefore, the school enters into a partnership with parents to achieve success. Teachers work closely with pupils and students to clarify the standards and expectations of the classroom, and with parents to optimise academic success in and out of the school environment. In the same vein, teachers work with parents to provide pupils and students with methods to help them become independent learners through the gradual release of responsibility.

    Safety and Security

BEES makes extensive investments to ensure that our environment is safe, every child is protected, and staff are prepared to deal with crisis scenarios.

The best way to judge whether this is the right environment for your child is to visit during a school day.
